Blessings

Once in a while
as I think to myself,
Of the blessings of loving
somebody else.

I think of my wife
of her kindness and love,
I think of my children
sent from above.

I think of good parents
Whose love never tires,
I think of their marriages
That always inspires.

I think of Grandparents
whose example and faith,
Pave the way for direction
in these trying days.

I think of the patriots
fearless and brave,
Who gave their lives
that mine might be saved.

I think of my Savior
whose great drops of blood,
Paid the price of my sins
that I might do good.

I think of my sisters and
I think of my brothers,
Who give of themselves
to help many others.

I think of so many
whose selfless behavior
Brings them to act
so much like our Savior.

Oh my how I'm blessed
as I stand here today,
To be living with you
in the U.S. of A.
